The tanker had refueled an Italian Air Force F-35A Lightning II aircraft during a two-phase, 11-hour deployment across the North Atlantic from Cameri Air Base, Italy to NAS Patuxent River. Italy deploys 4 AMX and 1 Predator to Sicily

The Italian Air Force has deployed four AMX fighters to Trapani airport, Sicily over concerns with the situation in Libya. The fighters are backup by a Predator drone.

Last two RQ-1s for Italian Air Force delivered

General Atomics Aeronautical Systems has delivered the final two RQ-1 unmanned aerial vehicles to the Italian Air Force. The delivery also marked an end to the Predator A production line.
