Japan Ground Self-Defense Force held large-scale military exercises practicing seizing an island at the foot of Mount Fuji on Aug 24 2014.
Mt. Fuji exercises were the largest ever publicly held live-fire training after Shinzo Abe’s Government lifted the ban on Collective Self-Defense on July 1, 2014.
