On December 24, a Jordanian F-16 crashed near the city of Raqqa, Syria and the pilot successfully bailed out. However the pilot Mu'ath Safi Yousef Al-Kaseasbeh was found and captured by state fighters.
Images release on the internet by state show pilot in a orange jump suit. Pilot is featured in the state Dabiq magazine in Issue 6 which carries a question and answer "interview"with the downed pilot.
The "interviewed pilot" says that his F-16 was shot down by heat seeking missile.
