Saudi troops arrived on a military cargo aircraft at Turkey's Incirlik Airbase on Thursday, said Turkey's Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu.
"On Friday, following arrival of the leading troops, four F-15 jets are expected to land at Incirlik Airbase to start the bombardment as a part of efforts against the Daesh terrorist group in Syria," said the minister.
Turkey's FM Çavuşoğlu previously said that Saudi Arabia would send jets and military personnel to Turkey's Incirlik Airbase by mutual agreement.
"At every coalition meeting, we have always emphasized the need for an extensive result-oriented strategy in the fight against the Daesh terrorist group," Çavuşoğlu said in a statement to Turkish daily Yeni Şafak.
