The Egyptian Armed Forces reportedly killed 36 militants from the Islamic State of Iraq and Al-Sham (ISIS), while also dismantling 38 IEDs (improvised explosive devices) during their Sinai Peninsula operations this weekend.
According to the Egyptian Defense Ministry, the Egyptian Army cleared several areas during their military operations this weekend, including the villages of Rafah, Al-Arish, and Al-Sheikh Zuweid in the Sinai Peninsula. The Egyptian Defense Ministry added that their armed forces destroyed 25 houses and 57 huts that belonged to the Islamic State terrorists.
