One unit of the double seat Sukhoi Su-30 MK2 tail number TS-3006, arriving at Sultan Hasanuddin air base in Makassar after being transported using aircraft Antonov An-124-100 Ruslan from Belarus, Thursday (26/05/2016). The aircraft is not a new purchase, but was brought back home to Indonesia after undergoing heavy maintenance.
Red Bear fighter jets have arrived following material crate dozens and dozens of crew. These crates contain aircraft components to be reassembled in the Technical Squadron 044 Sultan Hasanuddin air base. As is known, to be transported to the aircraft An-124 jet fighter must be removed some parts, such as the center wing, tail wing, and tail upright. Then the components are reassembled and after the aircraft undergoing flight test by test pilots to make sure all systems are working perfectly.
