Nuclear capable missile successfully test-fired in Pakistan






Pakistan conducted a successful test launch of a Shaheen-III Ballistic Missile on Monday, capable of carrying warheads to a range of 2,750 km.
Pakistan successfully conducted a test launch of the surface-to-surface ballistic missile called Shaheen- III, which is capable of carrying nuclear and conventional warheads to a range of 2,750 kilometers.
The test launch was aimed at reviewing various design and technical parameters of the weapon system at a maximum range. The successful launch, with its impact point in the Arabian Sea, was witnessed by senior officers from the strategic plans division, strategic forces, scientists and engineers of strategic organizations.Director General of Strategic Plans Division Lieutenant General Zubair Mahmood Hayat called the test a major step towards strengthening Pakistan's deterrence capability.

Hayat congratulated the team and appreciated the technical expertise, dedication and commitment of the scientists who contributed to make this launch a success.
