An advanced study course on national defense education and military training for leading officials of higher learning institutions kicked off in the Air Force Command College on March 27, 2014. A total of 83 leading officials from universities and education administrative departments in 31 provinces attended the course.
The Ministry of Education of the People’s Republic of China and the General Staff Headquarters of the Chinese People’s Liberation Army (PLA) jointly organized the course.13 study subjects are provided for the attendees including “China’s National Defense and Armed Forces”, “Policies and Regulations on the Work of National Defense Education and Military Training for Students” and “Aerospace Security and Threats”, etc.
The national defense education and military training for the college students constitutes an important part in the national talents cultivation strategy and defense reserve force construction.
