Boeing’s KC-46 test plane flies with refueling boom


The 767-2C test aircraft for the KC-46 tanker program proves its performance flight with refueling boom and wing pods attached. Pilots and engineers were testing the aircraft’s aerodynamics and performance with the refueling boom and wing aerial refueling pods. A second test aircraft is on its way to becoming the program’s first militarized KC-46 Pegasus aircraft.
