Time was wasted in Tawi-Akhnoor-Jammu sectory during the hand over of command from Lt Gen Malik, to Lt Gen Yahya Khan (for personal glory) which allowed the Indians to get over the surprise element and counter attack on 2 sectors - Sialkot and LaWhore.
