Indonesian Navy (TNI-AL) launched the Patrol Boat quick 43 M in the shipyard PT. Caputra Mitra Sejati. Ships named KRI this Cakalang has an overall length of 43 meters with a width of 7.4 meters overall. Ship construction made of steel, whereas for the construction of the superstructure is made of aluminum.
KRI Cakalang has a maximum speed of 24 knots and can accommodate 35 crew. This advanced vessel will strengthen the Navy to support the government's program to make Indonesia as the world's maritime axis. After the launch of the ship, will be conducted sea trials, commissioning test and inclining test in the waters of Merak, Banten.
Launching Fast Patrol Boats was inaugurated by the Chief of Naval Procurement Agency (Kadisadal) First Admiral TNI Prasetya Nugraha on Thursday (03/10/2016) accompanied by Heru Pramono as President Director of PT. Caputra Mitra Sejati. Admiral Prasetya Nugraha like to thank all parties associated with the development process 43 meter Fast Patrol Boats.
