Reuters has reported that the decision to select a new helicopter to replace the Republic of Singapore Air Force’s Super Puma fleet has been delayed.
The decision was made due to the recent crash of a H225M in Norway which killed 13 people, although that was a civilian helicopter, the military version of the rotor-craft is said to be the front runner to replace the existing RSAF AS332 fleet.
Anonymous sources added that Singapore is not calling for a new tender as well.
