MiG-29 fighter jet of Polish Air Force crashed near the village of Paslek, Warmia-Mazury province (north-east of the country) during a night training mission, officials said.
On 6 July at 02:57 CET, a Polish Air Force MiG-29 jet fighter from the 22 Tactical Air Base crashed near Paslek village.
The pilot ejected from the aircraft over the vicinity of the settlement Sakuv near the town of Malbork, but did not survive. The plane fell 500 meters from the houses.
On Friday, July 6th the Ministry of Defense of Poland Mariusz Błaszczak officially confirmed the death of pilot of the MiG-29 fighter jet of the country’s air force, which crashed near Paslek village.
The 22nd Tactical Air Base is a Polish Air Force Air Force Base east of Malbork, Poland, near the village of Królewo Malborskie.
