The Battlefield (2020) is an educational film specifically for conscript training. The film is part of the combat training material provided in the beginner period and in the non-commissioned and reserve officer courses. In addition, the video is used in the training of reservists and also staff. The purpose of the video is to give trainees a realistic picture of the Defense Forces as a whole, the circumstances and operating environment of exceptional circumstances, as well as threat models and preparedness regulation. The Defense Forces Service Center has produced an educational film commissioned by the General Staff Training Department during 2016-2020. The film replaces the previous Battlefield film released in 1998.
