USMC MA-211 to become 2nd operational F-35B squadron and first to transition from the AV-8B Harrier on Jun. 30

Marine Attack Squadron (VMA) 211 conducted their last flight as an AV-8B Harrier squadron aboard Marine Corps Air Station Yuma, Ariz., May 6. The squadron will be redesignated as an F-35B Lightning II squadron in June.

A USMC C-130J crew with Special-Purpose Marine Air-Ground Task Force Crisis Response-Africa coordinated an aerial refueling mission with five Spanish Air Force Eurofighters on Aug. 13.
