France wants to install a listening station in southern Tunisia

DGSE (General Directorate for External Security), French external intelligence service, is currently negotiating with Tunisia installing a listening station in the south of the country. Objective:. Better monitor the Sahel, where the jihadist threat is high According to the French daily, discussions stalled over an important point: the great French ears refuse to share data collected by this new technology base with their Tunisian counterparts, as ceux- will require before giving the green light. “We will return from Paris the data that is estimated to be transferable,” pleads the DGSE. “What is it costing you to share with us the information?” Says the Tunisian service, which was recently in Paris.
